Berklee College of Music

I graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA with a concentration in Film Scoring.  While there, I wrote music for small film projects and performed with different bands at clubs around Boston and other parts of New England. In addition, I worked in recording studios as a bassist and Stick player as well as producer for various clients’ projects.

After Berklee

After I finished my degree at Berklee, I continued playing with multiple groups, working in recording studios, and composing music.  I eventually moved to the DC area and got involved with military IT projects.  After doing this for a while, I moved to Germany for 6+ years to do WAN engineering and infrastructure management related to medical systems.

Going High Tech and Then Gigging Again

I continued doing the IT thing after moving back to America and wanted an advanced degree.  I went to The George Washington University and did my Master’s in Information Systems Technology from 2002 to 2004.  During that time, I made several new friends, one of whom played guitar in a band.  He asked me to play bass when he started a new group called Looking for Lester.  I figured the Stick would be the perfect instrument to make low notes for the band so I brought it to our first rehearsal and have gigged with it since.

Near Future

I have a few new projects in the works, but most of my current activities are focused on playing with the band and composing music.
